Another adventure begins

So after checking in my case and bike and going through the baggage check, here I am again sat in Bristol airport waiting for my flight. Fortunately I’m not crossing the Atlantic this time but flying south to a warmer climate in Europe. I’m headed to northern Portugal and a flight to Porto.

Some of my American friends are already in the city and they are already into tourist mode with many posts and photos already appearing on social media. I should be with them by 9.30 this evening and then they can show me around before we depart for Braga.

An orange shirt invasion is underway 😀

Then on Monday we will start a series of days when we will set out on bikes to explore some of the sites and towns around the area. Essentially the plan is one week of cycling followed by a week of building new homes. We will be a great team! We have done building work together on many occasions in the USA.

Portugal, here I come!!
